A.Selena was born: Selena Quintanilla-Perez. Her parents were Abraham Jr. and Marcella Quintanilla. She was the youngest of three children, her honest-to-goodness brother Abraham III, and older sister Suzette Michelle Quintanilla. Selena and her family lived in Lake Jackson, TX where she was born and they lived there until Selena was 9, they then moved to Corpus Christi, Tx. where she spent the remainder of her liveliness until her death. A. In 1961 Abraham was a member of The Dinos and they were going to play a club by the beach, the owner though they were Italian and when he found out they were mexican, he wouldnt permit them play and only wanted to pay them $10, but Abraham ripped up the check. Then when they played at a Latin club, they got booed make stage and fights broke out because they only sang in english.
