huck is a very loyal character. He rescues Jim from the Phelps plantation. When he gets money from the slave catchers after he tells them his dad has small pox, he shares it with Jim. Therefore, huckaback is a very loyal person to others.

Huck didnt penury to turn Jim in because he didnt want to let Jim down(When Huck was at the Grangerfords, he helps Jim who is hidden in the swamp. He helps Jim bury from Miss Watson on Jackson Island. When Mrs. Loftus tells him her husbands coming to catch Jim, Huck hurries to the island and helps Jim escape. One can see, that Huck is a very caring person for Jim.
