'The Church and the Basic Ecclesial Communities'

'The joys and hopes, the fears and anxieties of the great deal of this age, especially the brusk people, are those of the church. The Church should not be like this. It should be a causal agency for those who were denied their rights and plunged into such poverty that they were deprived of their luxuriant status as human beings. The poor should take the case of Jesus and example it to bring about a just society. To renew the Church, underlying Ecclesial Communities (BECs) were formed. The Second comprehensive Council of the Philippines (PCP II) in 1991 regarded the BECs as means of diversity the Church and Philippine society. Since then BECs make continued to farm and expand and they can now be found in over sixty dioceses. PCP IIs mass of the renew Church says, Our vision of the Church as communion, community and mission, about the Church as priestly, prophetic, & re gal people, and as a Church of the Poor- a church that is renewed - is today determination expression in one ecclesial execution.
