The lesson by Edward Lucie-Smithg is a poesy which made an impression on me. I swervek the poems title is called this beca usage the poem is about his vivification lesson. This poem is about a son whose father has died and how he copes with his grief. The poet uses good news choice in this poem and excessively good imagery to bring this to life The poets main groundwork in this poem is coping with grief. The boy in the poem uses his grief to keep bullies away. He also describes how he reflects on his fathers death by remembering what they utilize to do together. He also explains that he is feeling unrighteous for acting in this way. In the first poetize the boy has received the news of his fathers death. He explains this in the first line. In the third line in this verse the poet uses good word choice: Splintered this describes that his eyes are change with tears and how he cant see things properly. In the last three sentences the poet describes why he cried. The lesson at this intimate is knowledge as he was smart enough to use this grief as a way to stop being bullied for a couple of weeks. In the second verse the poet describes how he acted with this news. In the first line describes how old he was when this happened.

He also explains in this verse what the noise was like as it was so silent. He also describes how he felt by comparing him with a goldfish trapped in a bowl. He is using the metaphor: When my grief walked in He uses this to explain how he feels when he walked into the assembly hall at this point. At the end of the verse he uses a illustration: Pride like a goldfish, flashed a sudden thin This explains how he is centre of attention for a moment and how he likes it. We now begin to understand the lesson earned by the poet this is that poor times can be use as an advantage. I enjoyed reading this poem as it has lots of good metaphors, similes and word choice relates to the poets experience. If you want to get a full essay, enunciate it on our website:
