Analysis paper: Citizen perceptions of alliance policing: Are attitudes toward jurisprudence great? By Kriti Khandelwal 5025180 PR4209, section 402 This study was conducted with regards to community policing. This is a modify form of police enforcement which is carried out at a more micro level compared to local policing. Community policing gives emphasis to noncombatant communities forming partnerships with the police to address iniquity, rather than leaving it purely up to the police. It was assumed before this report that the efforts of the police to pull together smaller communities to help largely depended on the communitys commanding image of the police. This report was thus carried out to back up that hypothesis. In my opinion, this hypothesis was a weak one. in that respect was no proof to back up that claim, only assumptions. Reviewing the preexisting deeds regarding community policing, it is evident that community policing has no solid explanation. It could realize one of many forms, such as manual patrolling of neighborhoods or disbanding larger local police operations to smaller, more town-specific ones. This vagueness of definition has caused criticism of community policing, because it is argued that external research on it holds no meaning due to its various different forms.

I whole tone that the criticism is fair because it doesnt give the public a oecumenical direction towards the meaning of community policing and responses could be hugely varied. There are two ways to actively involve citizens in addressing crime. People can act individually or as a group in participating in programs and account crimes. Even so, the degree to which people can participate in community policing is varied. Things like fear of revenge, poor relations with police and conflicts between residents have been found to be deterrents in community policing.
