This heartrending and provocative drama from director chip off Cassavetes focuses on a couple (Cameron Diaz, Jason Patrick) who need a bone-marrow conferrer for their gravely ill daughter. Desperate, they conceive a nonher child to provide a genetic match. Abigail Breslin plays as Anne. She is a girl whos taken a lot of chafe for her infant, suffering from leukemia. therefore she founded out that she was conceived as basically a walking reed organ bank for her sis, she started to question what is her place in the family was thusly.
In my paper, I will discuss how this family positively deals with her child dead from leukemia because her sister Anna will non let them continues doing them tests on her to keep her sister alive. I will discuss the negative things she does behind their gage to see a lawyer for her function, and also will differentiate and contrast the things I would have done differently.
Anna was an eleven stratum old girl who they use to keep her sister called Kate alive. By the age thirteen, she has went by dint of countless surgeries, transfusions and shots she was born to be a match for Kate as a bone- marrow donor.
Sissy went through a lot of treatments, so many that she had got tired of it, and then she had her sister Anne to seek a lawyer to get her businesss to protest any more tests and surgery for her. As parents, they thought that they were doing the right thing. Her mother (Sara) was in so many deny that she did not want to believe that her daughter (Sissy) was dying. Her father (Brian) had understood the situation she was in and wanted to grant her last wish and that was to go to the beach with her family for the last time.
Like most people, Annie had to get a lawyer to get the right to say No that she did not wanted to continue to go through all that pain anymore.
